[Silex Chat](https://help.silex.legal/en/knowledge-base/getting-started?hsLang=en#silex-chat) # Reading an answer: source bubbles, follow-ups and the action bar ## How to check where a statement comes from, and what you can do with an answer: copy, download, translate, give feedback, or share it by link. ### What are the numbered bubbles in an answer? Every statement in a Silex answer is backed by a numbered source bubble. Clicking it opens the source type (federal law, cantonal law, case law, web), an excerpt of the passage the statement relies on, and an "Access the source" link that takes you to the original text — fedlex.admin.ch for a statutory article, for example. Verification is one click away; you never need to ask for references in your prompt. ### What are the follow-up suggestions? At the end of the answer, Silex proposes complementary questions — a good starting point for digging deeper or iterating on what you just obtained. ### What can I do with an answer? Below each answer you have an action bar: - Copy — copies the answer to your clipboard. - Download message — exports the answer as Word or PDF. - Download conversation — exports the whole conversation; this button only appears once there is more than one exchange. - Translate — translates the answer. - Give feedback — tells the team whether the answer was good or problematic. This is the fastest route for reporting an incorrect statement or a missing source. - Share — generates a link to the answer that you can send to someone else (see below) ### How does sharing work? Click Share below the answer, then choose how long the link should stay valid: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or never expires. Silex generates a URL that you copy and send to your recipient. Choose the shortest validity that fits your need — anyone holding the link can open it. ### Can my colleagues see my conversations without a link? No. Your conversations are private to your account and are not visible to other users, including colleagues in the same firm. Sharing is always an explicit action on your side. ### Can I have the answer regenerated? There is no regenerate button.
