# The trainee discount (50% on the annual Solo plan)

## Legal trainees can request 50% off the annual Solo subscription by submitting proof of their traineeship from the Pricing page on silex.legal.

Legal trainees are covered by a different offer from students: a 50% discount on the annual Solo subscription, granted on proof of status.

## Who is eligible?

Legal trainees — that is, people currently completing a traineeship in law. Students are covered by the separate student plan.

## What is the discount?

50% off the annual Solo subscription.

## How do I request it?

Go to the Pricing tab on silex.legal and complete the request form. You will be asked to upload proof of your traineeship. The Silex team reviews it and, once your status is validated, sends you a promotional code.

## What counts as proof?

A traineeship attestation or contract issued by the firm or institution where you are completing it, showing your name and the period concerned.

### Where do I enter the promotional code?

At checkout, during the subscription process — not in your profile settings. Note that billing by credit card via the platform is required at that step.

### How long does validation take?

The team reviews requests manually. If you have not heard back after a few working days, write to support@silex.legal referring to your request.

### Can I get the discount on a monthly subscription?

No. The trainee discount applies to the annual Solo subscription.

### What happens when my traineeship ends?

The discount applies for as long as your status does. At your renewal, the standard rate applies. Contact support@silex.legal if your situation has changed and you want to review your plan.
