Conversations, history, folders and multi-device sync

How the conversation history works, how to organise conversations into folders, and how your chats sync across your devices.

 How does the history work?

Each conversation you generate creates a new entry in the history, visible in the left sidebar.

Can I organise my conversations into folders?

Yes. Create a folder from the sidebar, then drag and drop a conversation onto it to file it there.

What is the recommended way to organise my work?

One conversation window per case — or better, a dedicated folder per case grouping all the related conversations. This matters because the AI has no memory from one conversation to another: keeping a case in one place is how you keep your own thread.

Does Silex remember what we discussed in another conversation?

No. Each new conversation window starts from a blank slate. Other conversation windows are not accessible to it. If context from an earlier conversation matters, restate it — or continue in the same conversation.

Where are my conversations stored?

In a Swiss sovereign cloud hosted by Infomaniak. This means you can start a conversation on one device and continue it on another, run several chats in parallel, and not lose anything if you change or lose a device.

Can I keep my conversations local only?

No. Local-only storage is no longer available. For any conversation you do not want stored, use Incognito mode, which stores nothing anywhere.

How do I delete a conversation?

Use the trash icon next to the conversation in your history. Deleting syncs across every device logged into your account. To remove everything, the current route is to delete your account from the data management screen — and you can click "Export My Data" first to keep a local copy, delivered as JSON.

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Your data is kept — cancelling a subscription or reaching the end of a trial does not trigger any automatic deletion. It remains until you actively delete it.
