Cancelling your subscription
There is no notice period at Silex: disable automatic renewal from your profile and keep your access until the end of the period you have paid for.
To cancel your Silex subscription, disable automatic renewal in the Subscription section of your profile. There is no notice period or formality required. Your access continues until the end of your paid period, and no further payment is taken after that.
Is there a notice period?
No. There is neither a notice period nor any formality to complete with us: you simply disable automatic renewal, at any time up to your renewal date.
How do I cancel?
To cancel, follow the steps below that match how your subscription was set up.
If you subscribed yourself:
- Click your initials at the bottom left.
- Open Subscription.
- Click Manage my subscription.
- On the secure Stripe page, turn off automatic renewal.
If your subscription was set up by the Silex team: write to support@silex.legal instead.
Do I lose access immediately?
No. Your access remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payment is taken after that.
What if I cannot find the option to disable renewal?
Write to support@silex.legal and the team will stop the renewal from their side. You will receive a confirmation stating the date from which it takes effect.
What happens to my conversations and folders?
They are kept. Ending a subscription does not trigger any automatic deletion — your data remains stored on the platform until you actively delete it, and is available again if you resubscribe. To remove it yourself, contact support@silex.legal and request deletion of your account and data.
Can I come back afterwards?
Yes. Subscribe again from the Subscription section of your profile, or contact support@silex.legal if your original subscription was set up by the team.
Will someone contact me when I cancel?
Usually yes. The team generally reaches out to understand what did not work and to check whether something could be adjusted. You are free to decline — your cancellation is registered either way.
